Savar – Ten workers were injured when the roof of an under-construction building collapsed in Biroliar Khagan area here on Sunday.
The injured were admitted to a local hospital.Mustafa Kamal, officer-in-charge of Savar Police Station, said about 8,000 square feet portion of the roof on the first floor of the building of ‘Dan Food’ collapsed around 5:30pm when the workers were about to leave the place ending work, leaving 10 of them injured.
Co-workers with the help of locals rescued the stranded workers. – UNB
