Rajshahi, July 4 – The Rajshahi University (RU) is going to celebrate its 64th founding anniversary on Friday, an RU press release said on Wednesday. To mark the day, the RU authority has chalked out elaborate programmes, including tree plantation, colourful rally and discussion meeting.
The university administration will hoist flags and release balloon, festoon and pigeon at 10:00 am.
A discussion meeting will be held at Senate Building with Vice-chancellor of RU Professor Abdus Sobhan in the chair.
Classes of the university will remain closed from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on the occasion, the press release added. – RU Correspondent
