Rajshahi – The Rajshahi University (RU) authority has filed a general diary (GD) against a teacher of the University for his derogatory comments against university administration.The teacher is Kazi Jahidur Rahman, assistant professor of Computer Science and engineering (CSE) Department.
Prof. Entajul Haque, acting registrar of RU filed the written allegation with Motihar police station yesterday under the section of ICT act.
RU Pro-VC Prof. Chowdhury Sarwar Jahan told the newsmen that the said teacher Jahid recently gave false and misleading information on his facebook page regarding digitization activities of the university. For this varsity authority served him a written letter asking to expolain the issue. At last, authority filed case at thana as he (Teacher) could not give any answer to the letter.
Humayun Kabir, officer in charge (OC) of Motihar thana said that the allegation has recorded as a case.
