Rajshahi, May 05 – Dr Mahbubur Rahman Rasel (36), associate professor, Rajshahi University Mass Communication and Journalism Department, died on Monday night at around 3 am. According to the family source, Mahbubur Rahman had a stroke on September 21 last and got seriously ill. Since then he was under treatment at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Medical University (BSMRMU). Later he took treatment from India also. After that, he was brought to Bangladesh.
He was being taken to BSMRMU on Monday night after his condition got serious. Later, as his condition was more serious he was being moved to a non-government hospital and he died on the way.
Department teachers said that his dead body has been taken to his hometown Noakhali. – RU Correspondent
