The Department of Public Administration at Rajshahi University (RU) re-staged a demonstration protesting killing and demanding exemplary punishment killers of a 2nd year student of history department and cultural activist of Comilla Victoria College Sohagi Jahan Tonu ,in front of the university Rabindra arts building for an hour around 12pm yesterday.Presided over by Public Administration department chairman Professor Dr. Md. Awal Hosaain Molla while it assistance teacher Mst Subra Chawdhry, Prof Dr.Parvez Azharul Haque, Saplil Rahman,Abu Sayed Muhammed Nazmul Hayder, teacher Farhana Nowaz, among others, addressed in the program where more than hundred students of this department participated.
They urged to the government for a neutral investigation and to take proper actions against the miscreant who involved under the murder.
They also questions to government about the security of women across the country.
