Dhaka – Holders Bangladesh Under-15 Football team will start their campaign in the six-team South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) U-15 Football Championship taking on Sri Lanka in the opening match on Friday at ANFA Complex in Kathmandu eyeing to defend the title.The match will kick off at 3 pm (local time).Bangladesh team, including 23 booters and seven officials, reached the Nepalese capital Kathmandu on Wednesday noon by a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.Defending champions Bangladesh, placed in three-team Group A with Sri Lanka and Bhutan, will play remaining group match against Bhutan on August 22 at the same time and same venue.Coach of Bangladesh team Mostafa Anwar Parvez in a press conference in Nepal on Thursday said they will try to defend the title.Earlier in Dhaka, captain of the Bangladesh U-15 team Jahed Hossain expressed his optimism to defend the trophy, saying they consider Sri Lanka as their main opponent.
