Entertainment Desk
The wait is finally over, Bhaijaan Salman Khan has officially announced the release date of his next – Dabangg 3 today on his social media handle. Undoubtedly, one of the most awaited releases this year, Dabangg 3 is the third instalment in the Dabangg franchise. The film brings back the amazing pairing of Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha on the big screen once again.
Co-produced by Salman Khan and his brother Arbaaz Khan, Dabangg 3 is being directed by Prabhu Deva. Sharing a poster of the film today, the 53-year-old actor wrote, “Chulbul is back….. #Dabangg3.”
The poster highlights Salman’s police badge with Chulbul Pandey written on it. The third instalment hits the screens on December 20. For the unversed, the cop drama went on floors on April 1 in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh.
Now that film’s release date is out, it would be interesting to see the film clashing with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra. It’s for the first time that lovebirds Ranbir and Alia will be seen together on the silver screen.
The first schedule of Dabangg 3 was shot in Maheshwar (Madhya Pradesh) and was recently even wrapped up, Salman Khan is back in town and now he is busy with the promotions of his next, Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat. Once he is done with Bharat, the superstar will resume shooting for the third part of his much-awaited franchise Dabangg.
Meanwhile, director Prabhudheva has decided to finish shooting the solo parts of his villain, which is being played by South star Sudeep. To justify Sudeep’s popularity and stature, we hear that a huge entry sequence has been penned down for him and it will be shot on a big scale. A massive set of a temple, a house and a lake have been constructed at a studio in Mumbai for the film. Sudeep will shoot with Salman next month.
As per a report in a leading daily, “Sudeep plays a goon in the film and will be seen in an intense, larger-than-life face-off with the hero, Salman Khan. In this film, the villain’s track is more of a parallel lead. The film is set in the past and present and Sudeep’s character is involved in both. This time, it’s the antagonist who is the catalyst in the story.”
Produced by Arbaaz Khan and Salman Khan Films, Dabangg 3 is also going to launch his friend, filmmaker-actor, Mahesh Manjarekar’s daughter Ashwami. We can’t wait to watch Chulbul Pandey on the big screen again, we are sure you are eager too.
