Marginal people of Uttar-Paschim union under Baniachang upazila of the
district would now be able to educate their children as the Education
Engineering Department built a school at a cost of Taka 1.40 crore.
Lawmaker Advocate Abdul Majid inaugurated the newly built school this morning.
The lawmaker said the school named “Maharatnapara SISDP Model High
School” was built considering the significance of ensuring education
of the deprived students of the remote area.
Additional education secretary Iqbal Khan Chowdhury, upazila parishad
chairman Iqbal Hossain and department officials were present on the
