A teenaged schoolboy went missing after a boat, carrying 13 passengers, sank in Bhola Khal in Sadar upazila on Friday.
The missing boy was identified as Swapan, a class VII student, and son of Aiub Ali, a
resident of Mirpur sector-11 in the capital.
Witnesses said the boat sank when its passengers were trying to board a Dhaka-bound
launch at Kheyaghat (terminal).
All passengers but Swapan swam ashore, they said.
Lt Rahat, a member of Coast Guard South zone, said they were trying to recover the
