A schoolboy was killed and two others were injured in a road accident in Sidhipasa-Bilkul area under Abhaynagar Upazila of the district on Sunday evening.
The deceased was identified as Rahim Gazi, 12, a student of class seven and son of Belal Sheikh of the same area.Police said the accident occurred when a brick-laden truck fell on them breaking a culvert on the local road, leaving Rahim dead on the spot and injured two others.The injured were sent to Fultala upazila health complex. -BSS, Jessore
