Police recovered the body of a nine-year-old schoolboy from a wheat field in Bera upazila of Pabna on Wednesday. Police arrested one Hitu Kazi, 27, son of Kazi Asad of Boalia, on suspicion of involvement in the killing of the boy. Second-grader Ramin, son of Habibur Rahman Khan and student of Boalia Government Primary School, had gone to school in the morning but did not return since then, police said quoting locals.Villagers spotted the hacked body of Ramin in the evening and police took it to Aminpur Police Station where Hitu’s statement created doubt
among law enforcers.Officer-in-Charge SM Faruk of the police staion said they were investigating the matter and process to file a case was underway.
