Seminar on copy right held in Narisngdi

A day long  seminar on copy right and copy right law organised by Copy
Right Office, Dhaka in cooperation with the Narisngdi district
administration was held at Deputy commissioner’s  conference room on
Thursday.
Secretary, Ministry of Cultural Affairs Ranjit Kumar Biswas attended
the seminar as Chief Guest with Deputy Commissioner of Narsingdi
Obaidul Azam in the chair.
Register of copy right, copy right office Dhaka Monzur Morshed
chowdhury made the welcome address.
Member Board of copy right and president of Bangladesh writers club
Mohammad Nurul Huda delivered the key note paper on copy right and
copy right law.
Former Register of Copy Right and Deputy Managing Director of Probashi
Kallyan Bank Manzur Rahman gave brief discussion on copy right and
copy right law.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Suraiya Begum, former principal of
Narisngdi Govt College Prof Golam Mostafa Miah, former principal
Mohammad Ali, former principal Surja Kantha Dash was present in the
seminar and addressed.
Government officials, school and collage teachers, journalist, and
local elite were present in the chair.
The chef guest in his speech said the importance of copy right is very
essential in our country but it was neglected for long time in our
country. He stressed on the need of awareness on copy right law.
