A Seminar on “Culture of Bangladesh and Cultural Studies” was held at the conference room of the Institute of Bangladesh Studies (IBS) at the Rajshahi University (RU) on Saturday.
University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Mizanuddin inaugurated the function, organised by IBS.
Moderated by P.H.D fellow researcher Rafiul Alam Nishar, the function was held in three shifts.Sayed Manzurul Islam, Professor of the English department of Dhaka University presented key note of the seminar in the first shift.
Professor Hasan Azizul Huq, renowned litterateur, presented his article ‘Culture and Mass Media’ in 2nd shift of the event.
Later, eminent novelist Selina Hossen presented her article styled ‘Culture and women’.
In last shift of the meeting many other researchers presented their papers on various topics.
