A sexagenarian died from snakebite in village Tistapara under Debiganj
upazila of the district on Thursday night.
The victim was identified as Rashed Ali, 70, of the village. Victim’s
family and local sources said a venomous snake bit Rashed Ali’s leg
while he was sleeping in his bedroom at night.
Family members rescued him in a critical condition and sent to
Debiganj Sadar Hospital where on duty doctor declared him dead.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Debiganj Thana Md Monaem Ali confirmed the
