Shafin Ahmed the feted son of one of the most prominent singer couple of the country has released a classical album. The rockstar has released the album “Mone Pore Aaj” for his mother Firoza Begum. Veteran musician and also father of Shafin and husband of Firoza, Kamal Dasgupta has composed songs for the album. The album was released to pay tribute to Nazrul maestro Firoza Begum on her 2nd death anniversary. The album features seven selected Nazrul songs which used to be voiced by Firoza. The album has been released by Impress Audio Vision Ltd. It is also available on GP Music.
Songs included in the album are-Koto Jug Dekhini Tomay, Mone Pore Aaj, Tumi Haat Khani Jobe Rakho Mor Hater Pore, Ami Chad Nohi, Chad Nohi Obhishap, Tomari Akhir Moto Akasher Duti Tara, Gobhir Nishithe Ghum Bhenge Jay and Probhat Bina Tobo Baje.
