Bangladesh’s ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been sold for $1,10,000 or Tk 87 lakh to a Caribbean Super League (CPL) team.
The star all-rounder is going to join Jamaica Talawas, following his successes in Indian Premier League (IPL) previously and Pakistan Super League (PSL) this year.
Seven Bangladeshi cricketers, including Shakib, were placed for auction of the CPL. Only Shakib Al Hasan was sold in the CPL draft, and Mahmudullah, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim Imrul Kayes Saumya Sarkar and Mustafizur Rahaman remained unsold.
