Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan has been admitted to the capital’s Labaid hospital on Thursday afternoon due to sudden illness. After being taken to the hospital, the doctors advised him to get admitted.
Labaid’s Public Relations Department employee Saifur Rahman Lenin told the press Shakib Khan is currently under the supervision of Dr Wadud Chowdhury. He also said his condition is not serious but he needs to rest for two to three days.
Shakib’s family members told the press his condition has improved and he will be taken back home as soon as he is released by his physicians.
The filmstar had previously been hospitalized at Labaid in 2017. Back then he told the press he comes to this hospital for regular checkups and consults the doctors, although he was admitted to the facility for a few days for observation.
Shakib has been very busy with his shootings. He recently came back from Kolkata after finishing the shooting of his upcoming film “Bhaijan Elo Re.”
Shakib joined the set of “Superhero” in Chittagong as soon as he returned to Bangladesh. He returned to Dhaka by a helicopter to celebrate his birthday on Wednesday. Within a few days he will be off to Scotland for another project.
Shakib is said to be under a lot of mental and physical stress due to his enormous work load. He recently got divorced from Apu Biswas, another Dhallywood superstar.
