Dhaka- Bangladesh’s celebrated archer MohamamdRuman Shana scored 660 to finish 14th in the ranking round of men’s recurve singles in the 21st Asian Archery Championships at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Thai capital Bangkok on Saturday.
Mohammad Tamimul Islam was placed 23rd scoring 651 , Mohammad Hakim Ahmed Rubel became 50th scoring 626 while Mohammad Sakib Molla finished 55th scoring 621 in the ranking of the men’s recurve singles.
In the ranking round of women’s recurve singles, Mahanaz Akter Monera was placed 20th scoring 636, Nasrin Akter finished 44th scoring 614, EtyKhatun became 52nd scoring 605 and Beauty Ray finished 60th scoring 590.
Bangladesh finished 7th among 20 countries in the men’s recurve team event, finished 11th among 16 countries in the women’s recurve team events while finished 7th among 22 countries in the recurve mixed team event.UNB
