Shomi Kaiser has been elected as new President of e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB) while Abdul Wahed Tomal as General Secretary.The Election of e-CAB executive body for 2018-20 was held yesterday, said a press release today.
Other office bearers of the association are Vice-President Rejwanul Haque Jami, Joint Secretary Nasima Akter and Finance Secretary Mohammad Abdul Haque.
On the other hand, Rajib Ahmed, Ashish Chakraborty, Sahabuddin and Tanvir Ahmed Mishuk were elected as directors of e-CAB.
The e-CAB started its journey in 2015 with a view to develop the country’s e-commerce sector. Currently, it has over 700 members.
BASIS President Mustafa Jabbar was the chairman of the election board while Kamrul Islam and Mohammad Iqbal Jamal as members, reports BSS.
