A shop worker has been hacked to death at Sakoa Bazar in Boda upazila.The victim was identified as Ripon, 22, son of Golam Mostafa of Shikarpur village in the upazila.Police detained two of the victim’s friends — Jahirul Islam, son of Safir Uddin, and Al Amin, son of Shafiqul — for interrogation.Quoting locals, Boda Police Station officer-in-charge Majnur Rahman said that Ripon had been working at the Flexiload shop of Abdul Jabbar at the Sakoa Bazar.He along with his friends, including the two detainees, went on a picnic on Thursday night.When Al Amin came to the shop on Friday morning, he found the door closed and no one responded to his knocks.Afterwards, he looked through the window and saw the body of Ripon lying inside.Informed, police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy, said the OC. -UNB, Panchagarh
