Should incumbents learn from history?

One aspect of our life is, once the people were in favour of the Muslim League and later changed their opinion that supported the Awami League. People then left the Awami League and accepted the BNP and then again went back to Awami League.Actually people want to live in the society in peace, without anxiety and free from corruption. But due to too much corruption by many of the ministers of the incumbents that a few ministers had to resign. One minister resigned and he was made a minister without portfolio. We have seen that almost all ministers did not get the ministries this time reportedly due to allegations of corruption, though there was a one-sided election.
So, people left the Awami League as we saw the last five city corporation elections where all parties contested, and the candidates of BNP from the alliance were elected with huge margins of vote.
