Siddikur finishes joint 43rd in Asia Pacific Classic

Dhaka- Bangladesh’s pioneer golfer Siddikur Rahman finished joint 43rd in the $300,000 Asia Pacific Classic (APC) after the final round at St. Andrews Golf Club, Henan, China on Sunday.Siddikur aggregated two-over-par 288 [72-71-71-74] from four rounds, taking 18 shots more than title winner John Catlin of USA. Two-time Asian Tour winner, Siddikur carded two-over-par on the final day trading one birdie against three bogies.
The 33-year trailblasing golfer of Bangladesh shared the 43rd spot with five other golfers to finish his maiden campaign at the 7261-yards course.

John Catlin won his maiden Asian Tour title after carding a final-round three-under-par 69 with five birdies against two bogies in the final round after dominating the meet in two successive days.

Thailand’s Natipong Srithong and Australia’s Adam Blyth shared the second place, two shots behind Catlin.

Natipong shot six birdies during his flawless round for 66 while Blyth carded two-under-par 70 with four birdies against two bogies on the day.Blyth rued his bogey at the 10th, which took away his momentum in his chase for the title.UNB
