Dhaka – Famed Bangladesh golfer Siddikur Rahman stayed in the race making cut in the US$ 1,270,000 Panasonic Open Golf Championship at Chiba Country Club, Umesato Course in Japan on Friday. Siddikur moved up to 61st slot from 88th after the cut round scoring overall two-over-par (144), 10 shots behind from the leader Kodai Ichihara of Japan who scored eight-under-par (134). In the 2nd round, Siddikur traded three sweet birdies and two dismal bogies to score one-under-par (70). Earlier in the first round on Thursday, Siddikur birdied to put the 12th holes while traded four unfortunate bogies to score three-over-par (74). (UNB)
