A mobile court here on Saturday fined six pharmacies Tk 1.05 lakh for selling cow-fattening tablets, Viagra and food supplements in the city.
A mobile court, led by executive magistrate of Chittagong District Administration M Ruhul Amin, conducted a drive in Boddarhat Market area in the city from morning to noon.
The mobile court fined Sharmi Medical Tk 10,000 for selling cow-fattening tablets, Idris Pharmacy Tk 30,000, Chandgaon Pharmacy Tk 5,000 and Shah Amanat Pharmacy, Jamuna Pharmacy, Ajgar Shah Pharmacy Tk 20,000 each for selling Viagra and non-approved food supplements, said Ruhul Amin.
