CHUADANGA:A team of BGB personnel seized huge quantity of Indian smuggled goods worth about Taka 24.28 lakh Monday night.The 6th battalion members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered the smuggled goods from the two frontier villages of Nastipur and Ishwar Chandrapur under Damurhuda upazila of the district and Jabla Bazar of Magura district.But none was arrested in this connection.The seized smuggled goods include various kinds of kitchen appliances, shoes, caps, phensidyl, wines and cannabis.All smuggled goods were found in abandoned condition. Cases were recorded with police stations concerned, the BGB sources said, reports BSS.
