Actor Sunny Leone, a popular figure on social media, posted a makeup video on Tuesday, which has ever since been making rounds on social media. In the video, she urges her fans to raise awareness against the use of animal skin, and promote vegan fashion.
She said: “With so many wonderful vegan shoes, bags and jackets to choose from, there is no reason to choose to hurt the environment and take a life by wearing/carrying an animal’s Life ”
Her cosmetics brand “Star Struck by Sunny Leone” has recently joined hands with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals India (PETA). Leone, a staunch animal advocate, is actively campaigning in favor of vegan fashion, which is free of any animal-derived materials.
Sunny Leone was PETA India’s 2016 Person of the Year, reports ANI.
