Dhaka – A man succumbed to his injuries early Sunday after his son had beaten him severely over a family feud in Hazipur village of Sadar upazila.Officer-in-charge of Satkhira Police Station Maruf Ahmed said Salam, a local mechanic, beat up his father Akbar Ali, 60, with bamboo stick, leaving him severely injured over a trivial matter. Later, he died around 6:00 am.Salam managed to flee after his father’s death, he said.The body was sent to Satkhira General Hospital for autopsy.UNB news agency
