Soumya gets call for 3rd ODI against Zimbabwe

Dhaka- Bangladesh squad against visiting Zimbabwe has been expanded to 16-man from 15-man ahead of the 3rd and last ODI of the series as top-order batsman Soumya Sarkar got a call on Wednesday.Soumya, who is currently playing in the first class National Cricket League (NCL) for defending champions Khulna Division and showed all-round performance, missed the first two ODIs of the series against Zimbabwe.

Soumya will join the team in Chattogram on Thursday (25 October) before the last match of the series at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on October 26.

Soumya did not get the call first in the squad due to his poor show in the Asia Cup in the UAE in September.
