Dhaka – Jatiya Sangsad Speaker and Chairperson of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Executive Committee Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury returned home on Thursday night after attending a workshop in Singapore. UNB news agency reported
The three-day workshop on international trade for the lawmakers was held during May 15-17 last, said a handout on Friday.
The Parliamentarian Workshop on International Trade was jointly arranged by the S Rajaratnam School of International Studies, the Nanyang Technological University and the World Trade Organisation (WTO), aiming to enrich the knowledge of lawmakers of the Asia-Pacific countries on this issue.
