Dhaka – Sri Lankan wicketkeeper batsman Niroshan Dickwella will play for defending champions Dhaka Gladiators in the eight-team franchised-based 5th Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket beginning on November 4.Dhaka Dynamites have confirmed the inclusion of Niroshan Dickewella in the team on Tuesday.This is one of the best collections for Dhaka Dynamites in the season after recruiting Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Amir (Pakistan), Shane Watson (Australia) and Sunil Narine (West Indies).The 24-year-old Sri Lankan cricketer, Dickwella, who made his debut in international cricket in 2014, emerged as key player in the Lankan team after playing only six Tests, 16 ODIs and eight T20Is.Earlier on last Sunday, another BPL side Rajshahi Kings have confirmed the inclusion of West Indies batsman Lendl Simmons in the team, who played for Khulna Titans in the last BPL.Participating teams of the 5th BPL are: Dhaka Dynamites, Barisal Bulls, Chittagong Vikings, Comilla Victorians, Khulna Titans, Rajshahi Kings, Rangpur Riders and Sylhet Royals.UNB news agency
