The prices of the most shares on the country’s premier bourse increased on Monday, to continue upward trend for the fifth consecutive day.
The benchmark General Index of DSE, gained 26 points to reach 4,197 points at closing of the day’s trading.
Of the issues traded, 185 advanced and 58 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
A total of 71,586 trades were executed with Tk 231 crore changing hands.
