KISHOREGANJ: Assailants chopped to death a Madrasa student in Kharampotti area of the district town on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Rakib, 24, a student of Fajil (hons) of Jamia Kashemia Madrasa in Narsingdi and son of Abul Mansur.
Sources said some assailants chopped Rakib indiscriminately around 8:30pm, leaving him critically injured.
He died on the way to Kishorganj Sadar Hospital.
Kishoreganj Model Thana OC Mir Mosharrof Hossain told banglanews, “Any case was filed yet in the connection. But drives are underway to arrest the culprits.”
