A college student allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at Choto-Gurgola area of the town on Monday. The deceased was identified as Tanu Roy, 26, son of Ramesh Chandra of Murshidhat village under Bochaganj upazila of the district. Police said Tanu committed suicide by hanging himself with a ceiling fan at his mess of the area. Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. A case was filed with Kotwali thana in this connection. –BSS, Dinajpur
