A school student was killed in a road accident at Nazmul Saroni road in the district town on Thursday morning.The deceased was Sakibur Rahman, 14, a student of class eight of Satkhira Government Boys High School and son of Shamsur Rahman, a resident of South Katia area of the town.Police said the accident occurred when Sakibur riding a bicycle hit a standing goods-laden truck in the area at about 9am and fell down on the road.Sakibur succumbed to his injuries at Satkhira Sadar Hospital. -BSS, Satkhira
