A housemaid reportedly committed suicide in the city’s Uttara on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Nasrin, 13, daughter of Nasim Mia of Sadar Hospital Road at Maizdi in Noakhali district. She was working as housemaid at a house of Road-5 under Uttara Sector-13.Being informed, a team of Uttara Paschim police station went to the house and recovered the hanged body of Nasima from the celing fan of the drawing room of their flat after 1:00 am, according to Dhaka Medical Hospital sources.
The body was kept at the DMCH morgue for autopsy. – News Desk
