Dhaka – Former Bangladesh National Cricket team captain and BCB director Khaled Mahmud Sujon, who suffered a stroke, is set to be flown to Singapore tonight (Monday night).An air ambulance carrying Sujon will leave Dhaka for Singapore around 11 pm, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hasan Paopn said on Monday.Sujon’s elder brother Ashfaque Ahmed and a BCB physician will accompany the former Tigers’ skipper.”BCB is closely monitoring Sujon’s condition. We’re trying to ensure best treatment for him. Although his condition is improving from this morning and the MRI report is also good, we don’t want to take any risk. He’ll be sent to Singapore for better treatment,” the BCB President told reporters in the afternoon after visiting Sujon at the hospital.Sujon was admitted to United Hospital Ltd on Sunday morning after he suffered a stroke and he is now at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.Earlier, BCB media committee chairman Jalal Yunus said Sujon’s ventilation was removed as he has no difficulty in breathing. “His body is responding and his condition is better than last night.”The 46-year-old former cricketer is now the Chairman of BCB’s Game Development Committee and manager of the national cricket team.
