Dhaka – Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed former Indian left-arm spinner Sunil Joshi as the spin bowling consultant of Bangladesh National Cricket team for the upcoming Test series against Australia.A BCCI Level 3 certificate holder, Joshi, 46, has the experience to work as a coach with Ranji Trophy, a domestic first-class cricket championship played in India, teams Hyderabad, Jammu & Kashmir and Assam.He also worked as the spin bowling coach of Oman National team in the Asia Cup and ICC World Twenty20 in 2016.Joshi has also been involved with the National Cricket Academy of India in the capacity of Spin Consultant, said a BCB media release on Tuesday. The left-arm spinner represented India in 15 Tests and 69 ODIS while he took 615 wickets in his distinguished first class cricketing career.UNB news agency
