Police arrested a crime suspect while allegedly making bombs in the city’s Khelkhet area on Wednesday night.
The police also recovered 70 chocolate bombs, 5.5 kg powders, including 1.5 kg gunpowder, bomb making meterials and huse quantity of books and CDs related to Shibir activities from his possession, police said.Contacted, Officer-in-charge of Khilkhet police station Nazrul Islam said acting on a tip off, a special team conducted raids at Namapara area in between 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm and arrested Imran Hossain, 20, from a house no. Searching the house, the police reportyedly recovered chocolate bombs and other explosives substances from his possession, the OC said .
