Police arrested 121 leaders and activists of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and its front organisation Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) on charges of planning to carry out subversive activities from Basupara area in the city today.
Officer-in-Charge of Sonadanga Model Police Station Maruf Ahmed said, being informed, police raided in the Basupara area and arrested them with huge Jamaat related jihadi books around 1.45pm.
