Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a suspected member of banned Islamic outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) along with 18 gram of gun powder and a sharp weapon from Shantinagar area in the municipality area on Sunday night.The arrested was identified as Rezwanul Bari, son of Mojammel Hque Akanda, a resident of Sabuj Nagar of the district town.Joypurhat Rab-5 commanding officer Major Abdur Rahim said on a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in the area and arrested Rezwanul around 9:30 pm.The force also recovered 18 gram of gun powder and a sharp weapon from his possession.Rezwanul is accused in a case for in serial blasts in the district on August 17, 2005, Rab sources said -UNB, Joypurhat
