Investors locked a share broker house in Chauhatta area of the city as the authorities sold theirs shares without their consent for the straight third day on Thursday.They also staged demonstration in front of the house.The agitating investors alleged there were about 70 clients enlisted with BRAC EPL Broker House which sold all their shares worth Tk5 crore without taking their consent; what is called ‘share force sale’.Protesting the anomaly, the affected investors locked the house on Tuesday and they also staged demonstration demanding ‘buy back’ of their shares.The investors also alleged that the broker house did the same misdeed once before and the house bought back the shares then in the face of protest by its clients.They said they would continue protest unless their demand for ‘share buy back’ was met. -UNB, Sylhet
