T20 Deaf Asia Cup Cricket begins Tuesday

Dhaka–The five-nationT20 Deaf Asia Cup Cricket Championship, organized by Bangladesh Deaf Sports Association (BDSA), will begin at Mirpur City Club ground here on Tuesday.Some 100 deaf cricketers from five countries –India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and hosts Bangladesh — will compete in the meet.UNB agencyBangladesh will play Sri Lanka on the opening day (March 21), meet Pakistan on Mar 22, India on March 23 and Nepal on March 28.President of Deaf Association Zakir Hossain Khan disclosed the details of the meet at a press conference at the Dutch Bangla Auditorium of BOA on Sunday.National Sports Council (NSC) Secretary Ashok Kumar Biswas and BDSA general secretary Firoz Ahmed and Bangladesh Coach Anisul Islam Bhuiyan Nipu were present at the press conference.
