DHAKA – Bangladesh won eight gold, equal number of silver and twelve bronze medals in the junior division of the first-ever Bangladesh Taekwondo International Poomsae Live Championship that concluded today.
The host country also secured one gold, two silver and one bronze medal in the senior division while in the mixed Poomsae division Bangladesh secured two silver and three bronze medals.
A total of 350 players from hundred taekwondo clubs of thirty countries including Britain, Russia, Spain, India, Pakistan, Nepal and Malaysia took part in the championship, organised by Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation.
As a host country, seventy one taekwondo players of Bangladesh participated in the championship.BSS
