Mrs. Anwara Rahman (74) a retired teacher of Nazrul Shikkhaloya, Dhaka and social worker breathed her last at PG Hospital at early hours on Thrustday following cancer. She was laid to rest at the family graveyard, at village home by the side of her husband late Matiur Rahman Biswas, former official of Jibon Bima Corporation. She left behind her only daughter Rubayath Rahman Hema and host of relations to mourn the death.
The Kulkhani of the deceased was held on Saturday at village home Charmirkamary, Iswardi, Pabna. Late Mrs. Rahman was sister of Anisul Hoque, Adbiz Ltd, and Sister-in-law of Senior Journalist Mozidur Rahman Biswas, Monjur Rahman Biswas, former MP of Ishurdi-Atghoria constituency in Pabna and Dr Abu Hena Mustafa Kamal, former DG of Bangla Academy..
