Narayanganj – A female student was reportedly raped by a teacher of Tajek Pradhan High School in the Sadar upazila on Saturday morning.Victim’s father has already filed a case against the teacher with Narayanganj Sadar Police Station in connection with the incident, said Officer-in-charge of the police station Abdul Malek.According to the case statement, the female student of class IX went to the school around 10:30am when she found very few students were present there due to the incessant rainfall in the morning. After one hour, teacher Ibrahim Miah called the girl to his room and tried to violate her. However, the girl started to yell following the incident.After hearing the scream, a female teacher of the school rushed to the spot and rescued the girl.As the news of the heinous incident spread like wildfire in the area, local people gathered on the school premises and gave Ibrahim a tremendous trashing.On information, police rushed in and arrested the teacher, the OC added.
