A 10-day long book fair-14 began on the premises of Shahid Dr. Abul Kashem Moydan observance of the 94th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children Day-2014 yesterday.
District administration and Jatiya Grontho Kendro was organised the fair on the occasion of National Children Day-2014.Administrator of Zila parishad SM Solaiman Ali formally inaugurated the book fair as the chief guest while Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Yasin was in the chair.Superintendent of Police (SP) Hamidul Alim, Additional Deputy commissioner (general) Zakir Hossain, cultural personalities Aminul Hoque Babul and Raja Chowdhury addressed the inaugural ceremony among others.A total of 28 stalls have been setup in the fair. -BSS, Joypurhat
