Police arrested an alleged terrorist at Poddar Bazar in Sadar upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The arrestee was identified as Babul, 32, son of Ali Ahmed and a resident of Rokonpur village of the upazila. Ikbal Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said tipped off, a team of police from the police station arrested Babul.He is accused in five cases, including for murder, firing gunshots on police and extortion, the OC added. -UNB, Laxmipur
