Things are getting worse

We cannot buy apples, grapes and all kinds of fruits due to widely used formalin in them. Some others chemicals are also used for particular fruits. Can we be sure buy fresh fish without chemical mixed?Due to too much fees of the specialised doctors we cannot see doctors for medical treatment. A few days ago I have visited a doctor who has taken tk. 1000 (one thousand only) as fee.
I know two sisters who cannot spend time without seeing each other. But for abiut a year they could not meet each other even though they are living in the heart of the Dhaka City Corporation due to severe traffic jam. Expenses of travelling has also increased significantly and CNG and Taxi cabs have not been using meters for a long time.
Educational expenses of our kids is quite high as they have to go to private tutors, coaching centres and buy as many as guides to find out creative questions with answers. They have no time for playing and meet relatives and others. Needless to mention, a large number of kids have been deprived of admission to standard educational institutions in Dhaka as well as divisional and district towns.
Water of the Buriganga is heavily polluted by industrial wastes and leather factories in Hazaribagh are the worst pollutors. Nothing has improved, rather things are deteriorating day by day.
House rent has gone beyond people’s capacity to pay and living costs have increased dramatically in the last few years.
Law and order has been deteriorating for a long time, students leaders of BCL have gone beyond control and some areas people are living with great fispair.
But the incumbent claim that they have done significant progress in the country and it would be continue if they are voted back to power. On the meantime people have proved the shift un public opinion by giving vote in 5 city corporations that people are so much unhappy with the incumbents.
