Three B’baria minor siblings found dead

Dhaka – Police recovered the bodies of three minor siblings from the Bemalia River in Nasirnagar upazila of Brahmanbaria dustrict, about 140 kilmetres east of Dhaka on Wednesday, a day after they had gone missing.

Police identified the victims as Sultana, 7, Raja, 5, and Badsha, 4.
The three siblings went missing reportedly while taking bath in the river on Tuesday afternoon, said officer-in-charge of Nasirnagar Police Station Abdul Quader.
Local people spotted their floating bodies Wednesday morning and informed police.
The trio had been living at their paternal aunt’s house in the locality as their father, Shawkat, a rickshaw puller, lives in Sylhet while their mother, Kulsuma Begum, works in Lebanon, the OC said. – UNB
