Three-day foundation training for journalists began at circuit house conference room in the district from Thursday.
Jessore Journalist Union in association with Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) arranged the training course.Additional district magistrate Sabina Yesmin was present in the inaugural session as the chief guest while district Sangbad Pattro Parishad president Ekramuddoula was the special guest.
Journalist Union president Sazzad Gani Khan Rimon presided over the inaugural session.Trainer of PIB and coordinator of the training course Abdul Mannan delivered welcome speech.Associate professor of Rajshahi University’s Mass Communication and Journalism department Dr Pradip Kumar Pande is the chief trainer in the course.A total of 35 journalists were took part in the training course. -BSS, Jessore
